Junior Digital Strategist

We are looking for a Junior Digital Strategist to join our team. The Junior Digital Strategist supports the development, execution, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns for a diverse range of clients. You’ll be part of our digital team and build ads, support campaign launches, gather and interpret performance data, and grow your strategic knowledge of digital platforms.
This is a growth role ideal for someone looking to deepen their experience in digital media buying, campaign strategy, and integrated marketing execution.
This position is based in our Washington, DC office with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Occasional travel may be required. TMG offers a collaborative and high-energy environment with the opportunity to grow and do meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in building digital ad campaigns across major platforms including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, LinkedIn, and programmatic platforms under supervision.
- Draft and organize creative assets (copy and visuals) for paid and organic content under review from more senior team members.
- Help compile and format reports for client review using templates and performance dashboards.
- Monitor live campaigns to check pacing, flag anomalies, and coordinate internal alerts. When possible, make suggestions on optimization to senior members of the team.
- Conduct industry, audience, and competitor research to support campaign development.
- Support campaign documentation, file management, and weekly status updates.
- Stay up to date with digital advertising trends and platform updates.
- Provide general support to the digital team across campaigns, proposals, and internal systems.
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with or coursework in platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, YouTube, LinkedIn Ads, or DSPs.
- Basic understanding of digital performance metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn new tools and systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as time management skills.
- Interest in working with clients across multiple sectors: political, tech, nonprofit, corporate, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Comfortable with data entry, spreadsheets, and formatting reports.
- Enthusiastic team player with a proactive and resourceful mindset.
Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years of experience working in a digital marketing or communications environment (internships or agency experience count).
Preferred (Not Required):
- Exposure to analytics tools like Google Analytics 4.
- Exposure to CRMs (e.g., NationBuilder, Hubspot, Salesforce) or email marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
Compensation & Benefits:

- Salary range: $57,000 - $65,000 USD
